The Temple Demon, known as Odō no Oni in Japanese, is a muscular demon who was the first to take a human life encountered by Tanjiro Kamado. With pale, ash-gray skin and striking dark green hair, he is marked by his cruel and ruthless demeanor. He guards his territory fiercely, attacking anyone who intrudes, including Tanjiro and his sister, Nezuko. Despite being decapitated during their encounter, he displayed formidable regenerative abilities, growing new arms and continuing to fight. Ultimately, he succumbed to the sun's rays, marking his demise.
