The Hand Demon, known as Te Oni, was a powerful demon and the primary antagonist of the Final Selection Arc in 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba'. Formerly a human, he was transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji and became notorious for killing thirteen of Sakonji Urokodaki's apprentices, including Sabito and Makomo. Over the years, his body grotesquely mutated as he consumed more humans, leading to an enormous, monstrous form characterized by elongated arms and a fearsome visage. Despite his sadistic nature and ruthless demeanor, the Hand Demon was deeply affected by his past, expressing a longing for companionship and fear of death. His last moments revealed a complex character who, in his final act, reached out for connection rather than vengeance.
