The Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus, a Tyrannosaurus rex, roamed the forests during the last days of the dinosaurs. Known for its burnt orange scales and striking gold eyes, this formidable carnivore enjoyed hunting but had a peculiar encounter with Scrat, a rodent who time-traveled before it could be eaten. After meeting an unknown demise, the Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus was fossilized and later excavated by paleontologists, becoming a museum exhibit, until Scrat inadvertently destroyed its fossil in a bid to return to the Ice Age.
